GIFT BOXES - All you need to know about the perfect gifting idea
You have probably seen gift boxes all over Instagram and Facebook… for good reason! This type of online shopping has absolutely blown up over the past two years. A lot of gift hamper companies started out during the 2020 lockdown as a service for people who were unable to go shopping due to shopping centres being closed. Giving a gift to your friend or family member during lockdown became increasingly difficult when you not only couldn’t travel to see them, but you also couldn’t go shopping for a gift either!
These gift hamper companies came to the rescue on MANY occasions! At Joyful Blooms we started creating custom gift boxes in July 2020, and it has been a fun, whirlwind, rollercoaster ride ever since.
Throughout this wonderful gift box journey, we have been lucky enough to create over 500 boxes! These gift boxes have travelled far and wide. Our trusty driver Pete has delivered them to local addresses in Melbourne, and our delivery partners have jetted these all over Australia. There is nothing more exciting than knowing that your creation is travelling to the other side of the country, and that someone will soon know that your business exists! Having gift boxes in our range has helped to expand our brand and get our name out there, and we are so thankful for that.
So back to the gift boxes. We like to consider ourselves as fairy godmothers who help you to create beautiful gift boxes for your loved ones! You select products they will love, and we wrap it all up into a beautiful box and send it off to the lucky recipient.
We go the extra mile with presentation. Our boxes include wood wool filling to keep your products safe and sound, as well as give the ‘wow factor’. We use durable boxes with a magnetic closure lid. We then tie them up with a soft pink ribbon, rose gold Joyful Blooms tag, and a ‘with love’ card which includes your beautiful words hand written on the back.
We love to create the ultimate experience. We want to surprise and delight. The outside of the box has to look as beautiful as the inside!

We love New Zealand based brand The Aromatherapy Co as their hand creams are lavished with all the good stuff to restore moisture in your hands, plus they are infused with essential oils to create a beautiful scent, and SPF15 to protect against sun damage!
Ministry of Chocolate
We are absolutely addicted to this chocolate! The team at Ministry of Chocolate have perfected the art of artisan chocolate and we feel so fortunate to be stocking it in our gift box range. This Belgian chocolate is so damn delicious and across our range you will find chocolate blocks topped with freeze dried strawberries from Mornington Peninsula, and Honeycomb from Ministry of Chocolate’s own beehives. By far a best selling item in our gift box range… you simply cannot go wrong with chocolate!
Bramble and Hedge
Floral coated nougat and chocolate covered honeycomb… We are sure we have your attention now! Bramble and Hedge have mastered the art of floral sweets. Their nougat and honeycomb is so sweet and delicious, and the addition of dried edible florals makes their products stand out in our gift boxes. The perfect addition to your gift box if you are looking to add some colour and additional blooms.
Summer Salt Body
Where do we even start!? Summer Salt Body has the BEST bath and body products, so much so we have A LOT of their products in our gift box range! Bath salts, body oil, crystal infused oils, lip balm, pink clay face mask, body scrubs… All of these products look and smell delightful.
The Hazelnut Tree
It took us a while to source the most beautiful hand crafted soaps for our gift box range, and we are so glad to have found Melbourne based business The Hazelnut Tree. These handmade soaps are so beautiful in our gift boxes, and not only do they smell fantastic but they also do wonders for your hands!
Collective Hub
We love the gorgeous books and affirmation cards from The Collective Hub. These products add a bit of colour into your gift box as well as inspire you in your everyday life! Written by Lisa Messenger, these books touch on topics like life, knowing your purpose and sustainability. We also stock gratitude journals and affirmation cards, perfect for living in a positive mindset every day.
Scents by C
We stock the cutest car diffusers from Melbourne based company Scents By C. These car diffusers will bring a soft and refreshing scent to your car rides. We can vouch for these car diffusers as we all have them in our cars and are officially obsessed!
The Laughing Pug
Coffee lovers rejoice! The Laughing Pug provides us with the most delicious coffee and hot chocolate. An absolute hit in our gift boxes because who doesn't love a good coffee!?
