Pick up and delivery | Everlasting Dried Flowers & Gift Boxes
I often get asked questions about pick up and delivery... So I figure it is best to cover it in detail in a blog post!
Some of themes commonly asked questions:
How are dried flowers sent without getting damaged? Can I select a delivery date? Do you send gift boxes to anywhere in Australia? Do you send flowers all over Australia? Do you do same day delivery? How do you package your flowers?
My mission is to bring joy to people all over Australia... So I try my best to ensure I can deliver to anyone across the country! Below I go into detail about our pick up and delivery options.
Contactless Pick Up
We offer contactless pick up from Rowville, Victoria.
This is a great option if you are wanting to avoid the delivery cost and can easily travel to our pick up location.
We also suggest pick up for large arrangements.
Select 'pick up' during check out, and specify in the check out notes what day you would like to pick up your new blooms.
**Please note that we cannot offer same day pick up, so please order at least one business day prior.
You will receive a confirmation email from us with the pick up address.
Your blooms will be placed in our pick up box at 9am on your designated pick up day. You then can come past at a time that suits you.
Courier Delivery
We offer courier delivery for anyone for anyone who is unable to travel to our pick up location, or living interstate. The great thing about courier delivery is that our packages can be delivered Australia wide!
We go to extreme lengths to ensure your arrangements travel safely by courier. This includes durable boxes, lots of bubble wrap and fragile tape! Our couriers also specialise in handling fragile goods. To date (August 2021) we have sent over 600 parcels by courier and not one has arrived damaged! *touch wood!
Unfortunately we are unable to guarantee a delivery day with the courier service, however generally it takes between 1-5 business days depending on your location.
Tracking information is provided so you can keep an eye on your parcel and confirm its delivery.
Hand Delivery
We offer hand delivery within 30km of Rowville, Victoria.
This is a great option if you are sending blooms as a gift, or if you are unable to travel to our pick up location.
Select hand delivery during check out, ensuring that you select the correct distance of the suburb your blooms will be delivered to.
Specify in the check out notes what day you would like your blooms delivered.
**Please note that we cannot offer same day delivery, so please order at least one business day prior. We cannot guarantee a delivery time, but it will generally be between the hours of 11am - 5pm.
Delivery cost depend on location. Whilst this service is a little most expensive than courier delivery, it allows you to specify the exact delivery date. The service costs a little more as we pay a driver to deliver to you, and the delivery cost is determined by km. More often than not you will see our friendly delivery guy Pete (pictured above), and on the odd occasion you may even see me (Katie).
*During covid restrictions we offer contactless delivery. Your order will be place on the door step, door bell rung, and then we will step back 2 metres. Once you open the door we will advise that an order is there for you and then depart.
*If no one is home we will leave in a safe place on the door step, and take a photo for our reference.
