I have worked in the creative industry for 20 years. I'm no stranger to flowers having worked with them in events, installations and retail.
I LOVE flowers, I'm a perfectionist, and I truly adore creating high quality long-lasting floral arrangements.
How did this little business come about?
Well, dried flowers was something I dabbled in my spare time, and then bam COVID-19 hit!
All of a sudden I was temporarily stood down from my full time job as a Visual Merchandising Manager, and desperately needed something to keep myself busy, and more importantly to keep the creative juices flowing.
In these unsettling times I figured what better way to make people happy than to bring a little joy to their lives with everlasting blooms. And that is where Joyful Blooms came to life! This creative outlet turned business started in April 2020.
Where to from there?
Instagram became my leading selling platform, keeping me so busy that I didn't even have a chance to develop that nifty website that was in my business plan! I launched an Etsy store back in July 2020 and boy did that take off! So much so it gave me the confidence to launch my own website. So here we are… After a lot of time, late nights, and a little (a lot of) wine, Joyful Blooms now has that nifty little website. I hope that scrolling through this one stop shop brings you happiness, and gives you the opportunity to snap up a piece that you love.
Where am I based?
I work from a home studio in Narre Warren, Victoria. I offer contactless pick up from here, so feel free to select this option if you live in Melbourne.

How much time do I invest in Joyful Blooms?
I am back to working full time hours with my other job… So I dedicate weeknights and weekends to Joyful Blooms.
For this reason I only offer contactless pick up (even post the Covid-19 restrictions) because more often than not I am working during the day so am unable to do face to face pick ups.

I am so fortunate that my business is growing every day... So much so I now have a small team working with me!
